What fun to see all of our colleagues in Philadelphia for the NACUA Annual Conference!  In connection with our annual lunchtime presentation on June 20, 2013 by our international Higher Education Council members, “Welcome to My Jurisdiction: Legal Issues in International Programs,” this week’s blog will feature a series of posts by international members on this same topic.  We often hear questions about the need for registering in a foreign jurisdiction, the need for work permits, the applicability of foreign tax laws and other legal issues posed by international programs and campuses.  Our international members will be posting information pertaining to their jurisdiction that we are sure will be useful.  We welcome your comments and tweets on these posts.
